Set or clear the Firmware password

These commands are used to set or clear the Firmware password on a device.

This command is available on all managed macOS devices.

1. Select the Devices tab in top navigation.
2. Select a device from the list.
3. In the right panel, click the macOS dropdown.
4. To set a new Firmware password on the selected device, choose Set Firmware Password, and type the password.
5. To clear the Firmware password on the selected device, choose Clear Firmware Password.
6. Click Confirm.
